It means that if you are a great person, then everything will be good. On the other hand, if you are a not so great person, then nothing will be good. I think it means that if you are a great person, then everything will work out, but on the other hand if you are not a great person, then you will have to suffer the consequences. For example, if you do a crime, that is obviously not correct, and you will go to jail. On the other hand, if you are a ctr person, and you are always doing your work and you want a bright future, then you will have one. You do not need to worry because as long as you try hard, everything will be good. On the other hand, if you decide to dropout or something, then you will not have a bright future, because you gave up. You will sufer the consequences which can be not finding a job. You could had had the brighter future, but you chose the worng path. This is what I think that it menas by if you are truly great, then you are truly good. Another example can be being a straight A's student, and doing a sport. You are truly good, because you are able to do many things at the same time, and you do not give up. This is what a truly great and good person does, they strive for the best, and they never give up because they know that they have a future ahead of them. This is why this quote is important, and this is what I think that it means.
