Class Evaluation

There are many things that i like about this class. I like how we are able to practice our typing each time we have this class. That will help us become better typing people. Another thing That i like is how we are all provided computers. We get to use them for finding information. We also learned more about technology. To add on, we have learned about many medical careers that i did not know about.

One of the things that i do not like about this class is how only some classes got the ctr project, while other classes did not. I don't think that it is fair how only some classes got it. 

Some recommendations for improving this class is that we get more time to complete our student success statements and our medical careers. The reason why is because we sometimes do not get enough time, and we are in a rush.

The highlight for me in this class is always being in typing tutor to get better at typing. It is the thing that i always go to when we have free time. I do this to be able to get better, and reach the goal of 40 words per minute. 

Yes, i really did my best in this class. The reason why is because i really want to get a good grade, to be able to pass all my classes. Another reason why is because i want to get better at typing. To add on, i want to learn more about technology.

Yes, i am reading my life planning journals each day for 5 minutes. I think that it is very important, so you can write down all your life goals. It may be a small goal, or a big one, but as long as it is a goal, then you write it. It is very important so that you can always be striving for goals.

Yes, i am committed to being a CTR. It has taught me to always making sure that you do what is right. It is great because you learn that if you do something wrong, you will have problems. On the other hand, if you are a CTR person, then you know what is right or wrong. You always choose the right. 

Honesty, you better believe it!

What this video is about is students that were taking a test, and one of them wanted to cheat. It then goes back to this story of other students that were in medical school, and they were going to take a test. As the professor leaves the classroom, then many of the students started taking out papers so that they can see the answer. Many students started doing this, so one of them stood up and told them that if they did that, they were going to report them, and tell the professor. All of the students payed attention to him, and put all the cheating papers away. It then goes back to the original story, and then the girl tells the other girl that she will not let her copy. The girl respects her decision, and lets it go. What this shows is to never lie, and copy or cheat. It is not wrong, and if you are taking a test, then you should not be doing that. This is an example showing that you should never cheat. It taught me to always do the right thing and not cheat. If you do, then it can cause you many problems. It is very important to make sure that you do not cheat. You should never lie, it is just wrong.This is why you should always be honest. Honesty is also very important.

What I believe that this means is basically never lie. That is like the main idea of this. The reason why you should never lie is because it leads to a bigger lie. In order to cover up your lie, then you have to lie again, and you lie again to cover up those two. This is why it is never good to lie. At the end, it will just be a big lie, and you will be a big mess. If you always lie in your life, then no one will never trust you because all you do is say false statements, that are not true. On the other hand, if you are always honest, then you will not have to deal with any problems, and people will know that you are saying the truth. If you say the truth, and not lies, then that will make you a good person, that does not lack manners, and is responsible. Another reason why lies are no good is because that will cause unhappiness. For example, if there is a couple, and one of them keeps on lying to the other, then that is not a good thing, because now you are a liar, that lies to the person that you supposedly love. If you love the person, then you will not lie to them. This is why it is always important to be a honest person. It will lead you to many places in the world, and it will make you a great person if you do not tell a lie. This is why you always have to remember that lying is not good, and it can hurt others. Always be honest, never a liar.

The Sting of the Scorpion

What happens in this story is about a boy and his family. They are in the desert, and they are camping there to explore. One thing that he said that his parents always told him was to put on shoes, and to not put sandals or be bare foot when walking. What then happened was that he wants to go explore, and he is to lazy to put on shoes, so what he does is he puts on sandals. He had ignored what his parents told him, and did not listen to them. What happened as he started walking was he felt something sting him. It was very painful as he described it. It turned out to be a scorpion bite. He called out for his parents, and then they took him to the hospital where he would be treated. What he did was wrong, because he did not pay attention to his parents. He did not choose the right and listened to them, instead he did the opposite of what they told him to do. If he would have payed attention to them, and done what they said, then that would have not happened. He should have done the right thing, and listened to them. Instead he decided that he would wear sandals, which his parents told him not to. They had told him to wear shoes, but he did not pay attention. What he learned was that he should have payed attention to his parents. If he would have listened to them, this would have not happened. This is why it is always important to make sure that you do the right thing.

What this quote means to me is basically saying, always do what is right. You should never do what is wrong because that is just not correct. If you do the wrong thing, then that can cause you to have problems, to add on, you may get in trouble, so that is why it is important to do the right thing. If you always do right, then you will not have to worry about problems that will be coming up, or anything like that. Another reason why you should always do right is because it can cause you less drama. For example, if you spread out a rumor, that is not good, and it will cause you to have problems and drama. On the other hand, if you do the correct thing, and not spread out any rumors of anyone, then you will not have any problems. This is why it is always important to make sure that you do what is right, just like this quote says. To add on, it also reflects on the person you are. For example, if you do what is wrong, then you will be considered a disrespectful person, that does not have manners, and is rude. On the other hand, if you will always do right, then you will be a person that everyone wants to be friends with, and you will be considered a good person, that actually has manners, and is not rude. You have to make sure that you are never rude to anyone, because that is not correct. This is why it is always important to make sure that you always choose the right, and do the right thing.

This quote to me is very true. The reason why is because it is always better to be at home, an not doing bad things, than to be outside with your "friends' doing things that are bad for you. It is also important that you are a ctr person, because that way, you will know that you should never do the things that are wrong. On the other hand, is you are not a ctr person, then that will make you have bad company. This is why it is always important that you do what is right. It is always better to be at home studying, or spending time with your family, than to be at a party doing things that you know you should not be doing. If you are at a party, it is always better to go to a place where you will feel safe, and not like you know that you are choosing the wrong. This is why this is very important, because it teaches you to choose the right, even if it means that you are standing alone. It is much more better than to be doing something wrong. Another example can be that someone you know is planning to do something that you know is bad, and not correct. What should you do? well you should not go with them, because they are bad company, and you do not need bad company in life. You need people who will always choose the right. This is why this quote is very important and it also teaches you a lesson.

World War 2

World War 2 started on September 1, 1939, and ended on September 2, 1945. It lasted about 6 years. The countries that fought were Germany, Italy and Japan. The countries that they fought against were Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, and the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America. World War 2 occurred in some places such as Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean. To add on, other places were Madagascar and the Aleutian islands. These were the places that it most occurred. One event that happened in WW2 is when Japan invades China. This happened in July 7, 1937. Another event that happened is that Italy invaded France in June 10, 1940. This was when Italy entered the war. To add on, The battle of Britain started on July 1, 1940. Another important event that actually happened on this day many years ago was when Japan Bombs Pearl Harbor. This happened on December 7, 1941. The reason why they did this was to prevent the US from influencing Japan’s war effort in south Asia. What this did was actually cause the FDR to ask congress to declare war on Japan on December 8, 1941. Another battle that there was was the battle of Stalingrad. This occurred on August 23, 1942. The way that we can show honor and respect to the World War 2 veterans is by taking flowers to their grave. Another thing that we can do is take a moment of silence, to thank them for what they did. It would also be great if you visit their families, and give them a hug for what they did, because they deserve it. To add on, you can always send them a letter, saying thanks. These are just some of the many things that you can do to honor and show respect to the World War 2 veterans.

Challenges Teens Face Today

There are many things that teens go through today. For example, they go through bullying, and it may be happening at their own school or outside of school. It may also be happening through social media or the internet, which is called cyber bullying. Another thing that they may go through is depression, which may be because of personal problems. It can also be because they want to be perfect, and it hurts them that they are not. They may want to be like a model, and that can lead to hurting their feelings and emotion. They also can go through abuse. To add on, they may also go through drug use, and doing bad things such as drinking alcohol, and smoking. To add on, they can go through obesity. Many teenagers may also go through social anxiety, and the reason why is because they may not like to be in crowded places, so that causes them to not be social. Many of these they do for many reasons. There may be reasons such as peer pressure, or things that they are going through at maybe their own home. The reason why being a CTR person helps you overcome them is because that way you will learn to always do what is right, and never do the wrong thing. You will learn that you have to stand up for what is right, even if you are the only one that is standing. If you are a CTR person, then you know that you will never do any of these things, and you will avoid them all the time. This is why it is always important to make sure that you choose the right, that way you will not have any problems, and you will be living a good life. If you have social anxiety though, the best that you can do is not be in crowded places, and have a close group of friends. A way that i can help teens overcome their challenges is by always being there for them, For example, if they are going through something, make sure that you are there for them so that you can hear them. It is important that you show that you care about them, and listen to everything that they say. Another thing that you can do is make them feel wanted everywhere. Don’t leave them out when they need you the most. These are just some of the things that you can do to help them. The greatest need that teens have is maybe being confuse. The reason why i say this is because they may not know what they are doing with their life, so they need a little bit of guidence to be able to help them. All i think they need is someone who will always be there for them.

What this quote means to me is so many things. For me, it has different meanings. For example, one thing that this quote is telling us is that it is always important to have a healthy body and to be healthy. The reason why i think this is because if you are healthy, then that means that you are eating well, which can help you a lot, especially in school. If you have a good breakfast, then you obviously will learn a lot, and be full of energy. That way you can become intelligent. To add on, if you do not eat, then it will have you just thinking about food. If that does happen, then you obviously will not be learning well, because you are just thinking about food. This will distract you from what is important, which is your education. This is why it is always important that you make sure that you eat well, and that will make you healthy, and that means being healthy and always learning in school. This is why i believe that this quote says that being healthy is not only important for having a healthy body, but it can help you in many things. When the quote says "Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy", it means that if you are healthy, it will help you become a better person. You will be full of energy, which is a very good thing. This is what i think that John F. Kennedy meant by this.

Health Sciences Librarian

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities:

A health sciences Librarian is the person who provides access to medical information throughout books. To add on, they also provide information through pamphlets, booklets, tapes, presentation, and the internet. They help people such as patients, health providers, and students. A health science librarian can work in such as The Library of a Health Organization, Health Information centers, and Medical schools. One of the things that they are responsible for is making sure people find a reliable resource, so they help others find what they need. In addition, they are experts at creating a web page, to be able to provide more medical information for their community. This is why they are important, because we can rely on them to provide us good health information that can be useful.

Salary: Average $58,000 annually.

Education requirements: Must finish high school. It is required to have a 4 year bachelor’s degree, which includes courses such as science and computer science. It is also required to have a master’s degree in library, which is mandatory.

Demand: Slowing down 2% from 2014-24.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I would not like to do this career. The reason why is because it is something that does not really interest me. It is a good career, but it is not something that i would like to do.

What this quote means to me is that it is always important to be kind to others. It is very important for many reasons such as it reflects on the person that you are. To add on, it is something that makes you a great person, and also loving. This is why it is important. Another reason why is because it will allow you to meet many amazing people, because you are being kind. This is why i think that this quote says that it is the essence of greatness. It will make you a great person if you are kind to others. To add on, it can help you become a better person in life. If you are kind, it will show others just how great of a person you are. This will bring you many positive things to your life. On the other hand, if you are not kind, and rude, it will bring you many negative things in your life that you won't like. This is why it is very important to be kind, because it is great. 

Thanksgiving Week

What I did this Thanksgiving week was spend time with my family. It was a great thing to be able to bond with them. What we did was just stay at home, and my grandma came to visit. It was a great thing to see her after many months. She will be staying with us for about two weeks, so it is good to spend time with her. Another thing that we did was go to my cousins house for her sons birthday. It was my nephews birthday, and he was going to turn 14 years old. When we got there, we ate food, and we spent time as a family. Later on that day, we cut a cake. To add on, there was also cheesecake. The cake was very good. It was a great time that i had with my family because we were able to talk about many things, and I finally was able to see my little nephew that has grown so much since the last time i saw him. To add on, we saw a soccer game, that my cousins and dad were really into. After we were done with that day, it was already late so we left home. I didn’t watch any movies this break, but i watched Teen Wolf. It is a really interesting show, that i have become obsessed with ever since i started watching it. At first, i didn’t think that i would like it, but then i gave it a try, and now I really like it because it is interesting. Another thing that i did was go to church on thanksgiving day. It was great because i was able to say what i am thankful for. To add on, last sunday we had a small party because i am currently in church class. It was fun because i know a lot of people in my class, so i was able to talk to them. After that, one thing that i saw was The American Music Awards. I was able to see some of my favorite artist such as Niall Horan and Zayn Malik. They were really interesting with so many talented artist. Many talented artist were nominated, and won. It was great because i was watching it with my sister. One of the things that i did daily was homework. We really did have a lot of homework so i did it at the beginning of the week to be done with it. I did my homework with my friend Michelle. We would facetime to help each other. Another thing that we did was read a book for english. The book that we read was “Night” By Elie Wiesel. It is a very interesting book and it taught us so many new things. It was also very sad at moments. This was a good week because i did a lot of things, and it was a week to get rest.

What this quote means to me is that you are always supposed to have manners. It is basically saying that manners make you a man or a woman. To have manners, you need to be polite. Manners are what makes you a good person, and who you are. To add on, if you don’t have manners, then people will obviously look at you as a person who is not polite, and nice. It is always important to have manners like this quote by William Wykeham says, because it will help you be a good person in life. That way when people look at you, they will see you as what you are, which is a person with manners. If you think about it, if you don’t have manners, then that means you are a rude person, who doesn’t care about anything. That is wrong because it is showing that you only care about yourself, and that is being selfish. To add on, not having manners can cause you problems such as fights. For example, you are not well mannered, meaning you are rude. That can cause you to have many problems with other people, because of your lack of manners. This shows why it is always right to have manners. On the other hand, if you are well mannered, then that means that you will not have any problems, because you aren’t rude and you are polite. This is why it is always important to have manners, because it makes you a good person, and it makes you who you are in life.

What this quote means to me is to basically always do the right thing. For example, when it says that if it is not right, do not do it, it is saying to not do anything that is bad. You never know if someone can end up getting hurt. This is why it is always important to make sure that you do the right thing. For example, if someone tells you to drink alcohol with them, you should not because that is the wrong thing to do. It is not right to do it, so you shouldn't. To add on, this shows how this quote is correct, because what it says is true. Even if other people are pressuring you to do something that you know is incorrect, don't do it. You should not pay attention to them because they are just peer pressuring you to do things that are not correct. On the other hand, when it says that if it is not true, to not say it, i think it means that is you know is is false, do not go around making rumors that can hurt people. If you say something that you know is false, and not true, then that can cause many problems. It will bring you many chaos, and that is not the correct thing to do, which brings us to the first part of the quote. I think that the quote is saying to not say rumors, or things that is false, because that is not right, and it can hurt people. In conclusion, don't do things that you know are wrong.You should always be the person to stand up, and do the correct thing, even though everyone is doing the wrong thing.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving day takes place on the fourth Thursday of November. It is celebrated on November 24. It is a holiday that is celebrated to give thanks, and for being thankful for everything. You thank god for giving you blessings. It originally started being celebrated as a federal holiday since 1863. It is nationally celebrated since 1789. The first thanksgiving ever was celebrated by the pilgrims, after their first harvest in 1621. Thanksgiving is also a harvest festival. For more than two centuries, thanksgiving has been celebrated. It started when the pilgrims landed and found the colony of New Plymouth. They had a difficult winter, but they managed to survive with the help of the Indians. The pilgrims held their first thanksgiving in 1621, and it was to thank the Indians for helping them. It has then became a tradition among millions of Americans to celebrate. To add on, thanksgiving is also celebrated in Canada. This shows us how thanksgiving day is a day where you are grateful for everything that you have. You should pray that you will always be blessed, and that all your loved one will always be safe and healthy. Last but not least, you should be thankful for having life.

Things that I am grateful for:
