What this quote is saying is that in order to learn something new, then you have to do it. The reason why is because if you don’t know how to do something, then you first have to try it out. For example, if you don’t know how to swim, then you have to start practicing little by little, and not give up. If you don’t start practicing, then you will never learn how to swim. This is why this quote is important. If you want to learn how to do something new, you have to try, but when you try to do it you fail, then don’t give up, and keep on trying until you finally reach your goal. If you truly want to learn something, then don’t give up until you finally do. Instead of just sitting down, then you should do it and not wait for it to get to you by itself. Trying is also another thing that you need to do in order to learn something new. If you don’t try, you won’t be learning how to do it. This is why it is important to do something in order to learn it.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

An emergency medical technician is most likely to be found working on an ambulance. Many people confuse an EMT with an ambulance driver or ambulance attendants. They are very different because a EMT is a trained person who gives services to a person who has injuries and during the ride to the hospital. One thing that they do is perform medical services and transport patient to a hospital. They need to be trained very well and they receive courses which consist of lectures. The main thing that a EMT does is take care of patients who have been in an accident such as a car crash or something else. They also have to transport them to the medical facility. You must know how to control an emergency scene such as bleeding, and performing CPR to the patient. As you can see, being an EMT can be a big responsibility.

I would like to be one because I would like to be able to help people when they need it. Even though i will probably be scared the first few days, it will be worth it because i will be helping people. It is a job that i will take seriously.

What my quote means is basically to always be there for others. You should always be nice to people, and always have their back when they need help. You should always be there for them in their hard moments. In conclusion, do the right thing and be there for them. The reason that I said , "You never know when you will need them", is because when you are going through hard times, they might be the one that is there for you to make you feel better and not sad. You never know if the person you thought would least be helping you, will help you when you need it. This is why you should always to the correct thing and be nice to people. I think it is very important because if you are there for others, then they will be there for you when you need it. In conclusion, always be there for others, because they will be there for you when you least expect them to be. It is also a very good thing to be nice and truthful to everyone. It is not hard to do that at all. Remember, always be there for others, because you never know when you will need them. 

Ear, Nose, Throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:

They are known as otolaryngologists who are doctors specialized for surgery and medical treatment of the ear, nose, and throat. Also for neck and head areas. Patients may need medical treatment when there is a disease in the ear, nose, or throat. They need this for when there is a tumor or cancer found in those areas. Otolaryngologists that focus on the ear look for hearing disorder, infections, or nerve pain. The ones that focus on the nose most likely focus on handling nosebleeds. The doctor that focuses on the throat treats diseases that may be found. They can also help if you have a disease in the head or neck.  As you can see, they help a lot if you are having any problems. One thing that your doctor needs to know is all your medical history. They need to know this to see if you have had any problems in the past.

Education: 4 year medical degree. They also need a 5 year ENT program which is an important requirement. Bachelor’s degree needed.

I wouldn’t like to be one because it is something that i wouldn’t enjoy doing. I don’t find it interesting to do even though you are helping other people. It is a career that i wouldn’t do.

This quote is very true because if you are obedient, then you will always do the right thing and that means happiness because you know that you aren't doing nothing bad and you are living a great life. To add on, being obedient just shows how great of a person you are. It can be like a character trait, and that is good because people will describe you as obedient. This is why I think that obedience is important. If you aren't obedient, that will show people that you are a person that doesn't have manners. That is not a good thing. On the other hand, obedience can bring you happiness because you will earn other's trust, and it will make people happy knowing that you are choosing the right. Obedience is probably just one part of happiness, so it is important to have obedience. It will keep you happy knowing that you are doing something good. This is why I think that obedience is part of being happy, like David Bednar said.

Reflection: I think that LAUSD does provide good services that are useful for us students. They help us a lot for our education. For example, if we need help, they offer us tutoring which can really help us if we don't understand something. They also help us know the requirements that are needed to graduate from high school. Graduating from high school will help us get into college so it does help. I think it is a good thing that we also have summer programs. I think this because if you are failing a class, you have the chance to get better grade and you work for a better grade. It is a very good thing that they provide us with these services that help us a lot.

What Alex is saying is correct. It is always importnat to do the right thing in life. Even if you are having problems or are not going through a good time, always choose the right. It will make everything better because you won't make anything worse by lying. If you do choose the wrong, then you will cause many problems because that is not the correct thing to do. This is why you always do the right thing. In addition, if you choose the wrong, you can end up hurting someone. You don't want to see anyone hurting, especially if they are soemone that you love. It is always important that where ever that you go in life, you do the right thing. It will make you a better person because you know that you aren't doing anything wrong, so you have nothing to worry about. If you do what is wrong, you will keep on worrying about getting caught, or it will be something that will stay with you forever. If you choose the right, then you won't have to worry about nothing. This is why you always choose the right, it will make you a better person. 

Dermatologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Dermatologist are physicians who treat the skin. A dermatologist deals with the diseases of hair, nails, and skin. There can be dermatologist of skin, or cosmetic. They deal with any problems that you are having. Cosmetic dermatologist deal with things such as surgeries or fillers. A dermatopathologist on the other hand helps with your skin. Some things that they can help you on is acne, which can be caused by many reason. They must obtain a license to practice. Dermatologist spend a great time learning about the patient’s medical history, in order to develop a treatment. They also do this so they can be able to perform diagnosis after the treatment. It is recommended for everyone to do a routine dermatological screenings so that you can know that you are safe and that your skin is healthy.

Salary: Female: $262,500. Male: $300,000.

Education: Going to college, bachelor’s degree, medical school or doctor of osteopathic medicine, internship, 1 year of training, and a dermatology program for at least 3 years.

Demand: Grow in the 3-5 next years.

Reflection:

I would like to be a dermatologist because i would like to help anyone if they are having skin problems. It would also be something that i would enjoy doing. I would like to be a dermatologist.

What i think that this quote by John Wooden means is that just because you are a basketball player, to not change the person you are. Keep on being yourself and don't change. It is not only for basketball players, but for everyone. You have to always be yourself, because you are important. Don't change into someone you aren't. I think he says this because many people can change after fame, and they might act like they are everything. That's why it says that you are a far more important person then when you are a basketball player. If you are a person who changed at fame, then you lost a lot of people because they will see that you are someone who they never met. You are a different person. This is what i think that this quote means. Never change who you are. Always be youself. 

Physical Therapy

Duties and responsibilities:

A physical therapist is someone who helps recover a patient who is injured, or has gotten surgery. It is their responsibility to help them be able to regain movement. In addition, for them to be able to manage pain. A physical therapist has to be fully licensed to practice therapy and treatments on their patients. Physical therapist can provide help at a hospital or clinic. They diagnose and manage the movement of the patient. To add on, they have to take the patient's medical history in order to see if there is something that can affect them. A physical therapist can go from teaching a person how to walk, to doing different exercises with a patient. At the end, you will both see how hard work has payed off.

Salary: $79,860 (annually).

Education: Bachelor’s degree. DPT program (3 years).

What this quote means to me is that you are truly wealthy if you have a heart of gold, Wealth isn't if you have a million dollars, but if you have an amazing heart. If you are wealthy, but have a horrible heart, then that is wrong. You are really wealthy if you are a good person from the inside. That is what matters the most, not being rich. Sometimes people don't care about anything but money, and that is wrong, because they don't have the heart to be caring about other people. There are times when people just care abouit money to have a good reputation. It is always good to be wealthy in your heart, instead of being wealthy from money. It is the wealth from your heart that makes you feel happy, because you know that you've done something good. Some examples of having a wealthy heart is helping others, and being there for them when they need it. In addition, it is also being nice to others, and not mean. This is why i think that this quote is true. Remember to always be wealthy person from the heart, it will make you a better person, and the world a better place. 

Dental Assistant

Duties and responsibilities:

What a dental assistant's job to do is to assist the dental operator. Some of the things that they do is help provide the treatment for patients. They also pass the dentist instruments during a procedure. It is their job to keep them clean afterwards. They basically become the dentist extra hands. In addition, they also do office and laboratory duties. To add on, they also prepare materials for x-rays. Dental assistants help patients conform appointments, and they receive patients and make them comfortable. They also help their patients with payment bills.  Another thing that they do is ask for your medical history, if you are a new patient. All dental assistants work in the dentist’s office.

Salary: $34,740 (annually).

Education: High school diploma. Postsecondary non-degree award.

Yes, i would like to do this job. I find it very easy to do. It would be something that i would enjoy doing. In addition, you sometimes get to use the office, so i would like that. This is a job that I would do.

What this quote is saying is that if you do something wrong, then you will feel bad about it. It will be something that you will worry about forever because you know that you did no good. This is why you always need to do the right thing. That way, there will be nothing that will worry you. If you do the right thing, then you won't have this heavy feeling on your chest, knowing you did something wrong. That is why you always do the correct thing. For example, if you cheated during a test, you won't feel good, because you know that you did what is wrong. You might even get in trouble. If you decide to do something bad, it will make you have worry, that you will get caught or something. On the other hand, if you do the right thing, you won't have to worry about getting caught. This is why i think this quote is true. If you to the wrong thing, it will make you feel wrong. It is impossible to feel right. In order to feel right about everything, don't do the wrong thing.

Dentist

Duties and responsibilities:

A dentist is a dental surgeon, who specializes in dentistry. What they do are diagnoses, and help with prevention of oral cavity. They also give you treatment if you have a cavity. A licensed doctor is a professional in teeth cleaning, orthodontic, prosthodontic, endodontic, oral surgery, and many more. In addition, dentist needs training for giving procedures such as anesthesia. There are not only dentist, but dental assistants, dental technicians, and many more. If you want to have healthy teeth, then you obviously need to go to dentist. They also do things such as x-rays, which you need in order to find a cavity. It is very important that you make sure to give them your medical history, for example, if you have gotten any surgery before. It is important that they know this.

Salary: $149, 310 (annual).

Education: Must graduate from high school, and need a complete required course such as in biology or chemistry. Required to have a bachelor’s degree.

I would like to be a dentist because i find it very interesting. It is a career that i would enjoy doing. Preferably, i would choose to be an orthodontics. I would like to help people if they need braces. This would be a career that i would do.

This quote menas that if you are always doing the correct thing, then you will feel free, and you won't have anything to worry about. But if you do the bad thing, you won't feel good. There will be this feeling that will haunt you until you do good. If you always do bad, you will feel your chest heavy because you know that you are doing no good. This is why it is important to always choose the right. When you do, you know that you aren't doing anything wrong, so there's nothing to worry about. Another reason I think this is true is because I have seen in many movies, when someone does something bad, then they don't feel good about it. It is something that they keep on thinking about. That can cause you so much stress, because you're just thinking about it. When they do good, they have nothing to worry about. They are living life at its fullest, worrying about nothing. This is why it is important to do the right, so you won't feel bad knowing you didn't do the correct thing. Never do what is wrong, you will end up getting caught. Always do what is right. 

Chiropractor

Duties and responsibilities:

Chiropractic is a professional who focuses on the diagnoses and treatment of disorders. They focus on the relationship between the nervous system and spine. Chiropractic is used as a pain reliever for muscles, bones, joints, and connective tissue. What a chiropractor has to do is take your medical history, and they have to do a physical examination in order to use lab test and diagnosis for you back pain. There is research that says that it is even good for headaches and neck pain. What chiropractors mostly use are their hands for spinal manipulation and other treatments. They use force to direct at a specific joint.

I would like to be one because i would like to help people with their pain from a bone, muscle, or any joint. I think it would be something that i would enjoy doing. I will also be able to help people. This is also a very good career to do.

By saying this, what i think it means is that if we are obedient, then we are doing the right, which means that we get freedom because we aren't doing anything wrong. It is true because if we aren't obedient, then bad things will happen. Probably things such as going to jail. If this happens, then we obviously won't have any freedom. If you choose to always be obedient, that will bring you to many freedom, because you are choosing the right. This is why you should always choose the right. It will give you more freedom, which can give you happiness because you'll get to do what ever makes you happy, but if you aren't obedient and end up in jail, that means you won't be able to do anything that makes you happy. You'll just be locked up because you decided to not be obedient. Being obedient gives you happines too, because you know that you are doing the right thing. If you are obedient, maybe your family members can learn and start being more obedient. I agree that the key to freedom is obedience.

911 Memeorial

September 11, 2001, was the day where there was a terrorist attack. It was a islamic terroist group that attacked. The name of the group is al-qaeda.There were four airplanes that were in danger. They were both from United airlines and American airlines. They were hijacked by 19 al-qaeda terrorist. Two of the planes hit the Twin Towers. The third plane was the one that crashed into The Pentagon, in Virginia. The last plane was the one that was crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. These attacks killed a total of about 2,996 and injured 6,000 others. It was about 8:40 when flight 11 crashes into the north tower of the twin towers. It was between floors 93-99. It was around 8:58 when Flight 175 starts heading towards New York City. It was about 9:03 when Flight 175 makes it to NYC and crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center. It was a year later when the Pentagon was repaired. All of this caused so many destruction.  As you can see, many many people lost their lifes. It was a very sad time for all those who lost a loved one, or a friend. Not only did all the people in the planes loose their lifes, but so did the people in the buildings, and also some firefighters did. It is a very sad thing that happened. It makes me sad knowing that innocent people, lost their life. Rest in peace to all those who lost their life in the september 11 terrorist attack.

What obedience means ot me is always paying attention, doing good in everything that is asked for, being a good listener, and always choosing the right, there are also many more things that can explain you being obedient. For expamle, when someone asks you to do them a favor, you have to be obedient an do it because they asked you nicely. Being obedient is doing the right because that means that you are not being disrespectful towards anyone. You are in fact doing youself a favor of choosing the right. What I think it means is that if you are obedient, it will be great in life. That's why it says that obedience is the great test of life, because many good things can happen to you if you are obedient.  Being obedient can cause good things to happen to you, because that shows that you have a good character trait in you. It can also show how you are a good person who has a good education, and has good manners. This is why I think that obedience is a good thing, because it is just a positive thing in life. In addition, if you are obedient, that will show not only positive things, but that you are a person full of positivy. This is why obedience is the great test of life.
