Physical Therapy
Duties and responsibilities:
A physical therapist is someone who helps recover a patient who is injured, or has gotten surgery. It is their responsibility to help them be able to regain movement. In addition, for them to be able to manage pain. A physical therapist has to be fully licensed to practice therapy and treatments on their patients. Physical therapist can provide help at a hospital or clinic. They diagnose and manage the movement of the patient. To add on, they have to take the patient's medical history in order to see if there is something that can affect them. A physical therapist can go from teaching a person how to walk, to doing different exercises with a patient. At the end, you will both see how hard work has payed off.

Salary: $79,860 (annually).

Education: Bachelor’s degree. DPT program (3 years).

Demand: Growing 34% between 2014-24.


Reflection:

I would like to do this because i will be able to help people who need it. I would like to see how they are getting better. It is a career that i would enjoy doing.
