Occupational Medicine Physician 

Duties and responsibilities:  
They help with preventions and treatments of injuries and diseases. It is the branch of medicine that deals with the maintenance of health in the workplace. They must be able to evaluate their patient's diagnosis and treat their injury. To add on, Occupational Medicine Physicians must know about health education, and government laws. They must also be able to manage health service delivery. It is also their responsibility to have knowledge on hazards in the workplace. They must know how to communicate with others.  They must be confident with others physicians. This is why Occupational Medicine Physicians are very important.  

Salary: $240,543 - $273,800 is the range.  

Education requirements: You must have 4 years of medical training of epidemiology, toxicology, biostatistics, and psychology. You must have training.  

Demand or need for this profession: Growing 30% from 2014-2024.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 

I would not like to be one because it is something that really does not interest me. It is a career that I would not enjoy.
