To add on, i think that this quote also means that cheating will be worht it at the end, but it will not. You will get caught, and in trouble. For example, if you decide to cheat on a test, so that you can get a better score, then that is incorrect. Another example can be if someone encourages you to take the shortcut to something, such as copying someone else, and you actually do it, that is not choosing the right. The reason why is because you are doing something, that although may seem as if it is no big deal, it is.
