They have many responsibilities such as receiving the customer's prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses. To add on, they also have to help their patient choose the correct eyeglasses. They also adjust eyewear to make sure that they fit good. Not only that, but they also repair or replace broken eyeglass frames. As you can see, they are very important because if someone is having problems with their vision, then they can go to an Optician, and get the help that they need.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would not like to be an optician. The reason why is because it is something that I would not enjoy to do. I would not be comfortable doing this career, because I would not like looking into people eyes, just to find the correct lenses. This is something that I would not do for a medical career.
