The Naturopathic Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:
The naturopathic doctor is responsible for treating medical condition, and providing individual and family health care. They identify and remove barriers to good health by creating a healing internal and external environment. They treat allergies, chronic pain, digestive issues, respiratory conditions, and heart disease. These are just some of the many things that they treat. Naturopathic Doctors work in places such as hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. To add on, they also work in private places. They are responsible for taking your medical history, and also many other things about you such as how is your diet or your stress levels. It is their job to also perform examinations and diagnosis. They need to ask their patients many questions to know what are their health goals. They are responsible for improving their condition or health. As you can see, Naturopathic Doctors are very important, because they will help you become healthier, and a better person.

Salary: $74,710 (annually). The salary may be different in different states.

Education requirements: Doctoral degree required. It is required to have a license by the state to practice medicine. To add on, must have a bachelor’s and medical degree. You must have 2-5 years of experience.

Demand or need for this profession: Growing 12% from 2014- 2024.

I would like to be a naturopathic doctor. I think that it would be a very good career, because it is interesting. You are able to help many people get better and become healthier people. You can help them with whatever condition that they have, and I think that that is very important, because you are able to help others. To add on, you are able to help your community.
