Duties and responsibilities:
Navy dentist attend many places such as Humanitarian missions and anywhere in the world. They help people such as marines, sailors, and as well as their family members. They help them have perfect oral care. They work military dental facilities. Another thing that this job requires is that you work with your patients, and you need to make sure that you record their medical history. To add on, they participate in domestic outreach to gather the young people, elderly, and underprivileged. Another one of their responsibility is to make sure that maintain a flexible schedule, so that they are able to work with many patients. Many navy dentist were used during war, so that they can have an advantage. It was in 1927 when they authorized dental treatment for everyone who was at war. They offered it for the men, and officers. This is a very important career because you are able to help others.


Salary: $143, 534, but usually ranges between $126,644- $170,921.


Education: You have to be a graduate of a dental school. You must have an associates degree. It is also required to have a health professional certificate. To add on, you must have a license.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would like to be a US Navy dentist because I would be able to help anyone who needs dental help. I think it would be great to help them because they deserve it.
