“Right is right only when entire”.
-Victor Hugo

What this statement is saying is very true. What it means is that if you are telling someone something, and you leave a part out, then you are not right. You are basically lying. For example, if you tell your parents that you are going to go to your friends house, and they let you, once you get there you start doing things that are not correct, maybe such as smoking. That is not the correct thing to do. When you finally get home, you only tell your parents that you saw a movie, but you leave out the smoking part, then that is not correct. You are basically lying to your parents. You are not telling them the truth, because you only told them a part, and you did not say the rest. This quote is basically saying that you are correct if you tell someone something entirely. If you tell someone something, but you leave out parts that were choosing the wrong, then that is lying, and wrong. This is why this quote is saying that you are only right when you say something entirely. Otherwise, you will be incorrect, and you will be lying. It is always important that you know that if you say a lie, and leave things out, then eventually someone will find out, and you will suffer from the consequences. This is why you should never lie to someone, and that way they will not suffer from the consequences. This is what I think that this quote means, and why I think that it is very important to know.
