“Doing what is right, fair, and honorable is more important than winning or losing.”
-Chick Moorman

What this quote means to me is that it is always important to do what is correct. It means to always do what is fair, right, and honorable, and don’t cheat. It is always better to do that instead of winning, but knowing that you cheated. It you do that, then you will have guilt, and it will be bothering you because you know that you did something wrong. On the other hand, if you do all that, and you either win or lose, you’ll know that you did it fairly, and you won’t be guilty, because you did the correct thing. An example of not doing that is if you are playing a game, and you win because you cheated. You will feel guilty, knowing that what you did was wrong, and maybe the other team was the one that should have won, but they didn’t because you cheated. On the other hand, if you win or lose, it will be okay because it is a game that everyone was playing fairly too, and you know that no one cheated. This is why i think that this is a very important quote. It teaches you to always do what is correct. It has a lot of meaning, and it teaches you a lot. It is very important to know this. That way if you know this, you will know to never do the wrong thing, and that the important thing is to do it fairly, right and honorable, either of you win or lose.
