Healthcare Administrator

Duties and responsibilities:
Healthcare administrators are also known as health service managers and health care managers. They are responsible for the operation of hospitals, health systems, and other organizations. Another thing that they are responsible for is providing health services for families. They help them with that. A healthcare administrator can be answering the phone, recording the patient’s results, or paying bills. One of their duties is to train people, hire them, assign their schedules or task, and for them to develop well. They do this to staff members. In conclusion, it is their responsibility to make sure they manage, direct, and coordinate good medical services to the hospital or clinic.

Salary: Average salary is $103,700.

Education: Bachelor’s (4 years) or master’s degree required in health, nursing, hospital, or business administration. Must have experience.

Demand or need for this profession: Growing 17% from 2014-2024.


Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I would like to be one because that means i will be able to help the community by being able to provide them with healthcare. I will also be able to say ways to make things better. It will also make everyone share ideas about what they think is best. This is why i would like to be a healthcare administrator.
