What this quote means to me is to always do what is the right thing. That is like the main point of this. You should always do what is right, but not for the purpose of you wanting to get famous, or for you wanting to get rich. You have to do it by the heart, and because it is what you love. For example, if you decide to do something just to get famous, then that is wrong. It is wrong because what if you are doing something that does not make you happy, but you are just doing it for the fame. That will not be worth it. On the other hand, if you do what you love, then the rest that comes along does not matter. The only important thing is that you are doing what you love. This is what i think that it means by this quote, because Dean Smith had no intentions of getting big, or growing fame, but he did what he loved, and everything else just came along with that. That is why it is very important that you always do what you love, even though people might be against you, it does not matter because at the end of the day you are the one that knows what you are doing with your life, not other people. To add on, i think that Dean Smith said this quote with the intentions of saying that he just wants to always be remembered. This is why i think that this quote is very important.
